Who are the people behind Chord Health?

We are a small team of healthcare professionals, engineers, and designers dedicated to making high-quality healthcare more accessible through technology. Our advisors include some of the top medical doctors in the world and musculoskeletal researchers from the leading universities.

What is the day to day experience like?

A Chord Health therapy is about 30 days long. Each day, you’ll simply login at Chord Health and follow the guided exercises for the day. On some days, you’ll also answer questions about how your body is feeling so that you can keep track of your improvement. When you’re done with the session, simply logout or close the browser. When the next day’s content is available, you’ll receive an email notification to login again. Also, if you miss a day, we’ll email you a friendly reminder.

What is Chord Health?

Chord Health is a platform that gives doctors the ability to prescribe digital therapies for patients suffering from common musculoskeletal ailments. Patients can access these therapies by simply logging into the Chord Health website on a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

Is Chord Health covered by my insurance?

If your doctor is using Chord Health for Remote Patient Monitoring, most insurance companies cover the cost and there is little or no out of pocket costs for patients.

How long do Patients have access to the program?

Chord Health digital therapies are typically 30 day guided programs.  After you complete the guided program, you have continued access to the video content so that you can practice your favorite exercises and maintain the progress you’ve made.

How do I start my prescribed therapy?

After you’re prescribed a Chord Health therapy, you’ll receive a text or an email that will guide you through setting up your account.  If you ever get stuck or have questions, you can reach us at support@chordhealth.net.

How do I access my Chord Health program?

Patients and Clinics can access the Chord Health experience from computers, tablets, and mobile devices.

How can I get access to Chord Health?

Therapies on the Chord Health platform are only available by prescription from your doctor or healthcare provider. If your doctor or healthcare provider is unaware of Chord Health, you can invite them to contact us directly at support@chordhealth.net.

Do I need any special equipment for the exercises?

The Chord Health therapies do not require any special equipment. For comfort and safety, we suggest using a padded exercise mat. Also, some exercises require a household item such as a stable chair or towel.
